Your records. Your control.
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
Your records are stored on your iPhone. If you enable iCloud Sync, your records and original lab reports also sync through your private iCloud account.
About this policy
This policy explains how the Cypio iPhone app and this website handle information. Cypio is a personal tracking tool. You do not need a separate Cypio account to keep records on your device.
Information you choose to record
The information you enter or import is saved locally within the app on your iPhone: compound names, doses, concentrations, schedules, vial and bottle inventory, injection sites, notes, lab results and original PDFs, vitals, and daily check-ins. Your app preferences and reminder settings are also saved on your device.
If you enable iCloud Sync, your records and original lab reports are also stored in your private iCloud account. Your health records are not stored on servers operated by Cypio.
The app processes these records on your iPhone to display your history, update inventory, show your saved schedule, and provide the reminders you enable. Cypio does not sell your health records or use them for advertising.
On your device
Records and imported reports are saved in the app’s storage on your iPhone. Lab PDF text recognition and optional Apple Intelligence assistance run on the device. Reports are not sent to a separate AI service for extraction.
Cypio does not operate a separate server for your health records. The app uses iOS file protection for stored records and reports. Access to your device, exported files, and backups also depends on your device and account security settings.
Optional iCloud Sync and backups
iCloud Sync is off by default. Enabling it stores a copy of your records and original reports in your private iCloud database, associated with your Apple Account. The app saves account and sync information locally on your iPhone to keep those copies connected to the correct account. You can continue to use the app offline.
Turning sync off stops future syncing; it does not erase copies already stored on your device or in iCloud. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Your device backup settings are separate from Cypio’s sync setting. App data may be included in an iCloud or computer backup even when Cypio sync is off. See what iCloud backs up and manage backups through Apple’s settings.
Purchases
Cypio Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple processes payment, and we never receive your card or Apple Account details.
We use RevenueCat to confirm purchases, provide Cypio Pro access, and understand subscription performance, such as revenue and renewals. When the app checks your Cypio Pro status, shows prices, or completes a purchase or restore, RevenueCat receives a random app user ID created on your device, your Cypio purchase and subscription history, and technical details such as app version, device model, iOS version, country, and IP address. RevenueCat does not receive your health records. RevenueCat describes its handling of this information in its Privacy Policy.
Exports, retention, and deletion
You can review and edit records in the app and export a JSON copy from More. That export does not include original PDF attachments. When you share an export or report, the destination you choose controls its copy.
Records remain in app storage until you remove them or delete the app. Archiving, undoing, and correcting entries can preserve history; they do not necessarily erase the underlying record. Original reports and sync recovery copies may also be retained.
Deleting the app removes its local copy. It does not automatically delete iCloud data, device backups, or files you have exported. Manage those copies separately through the relevant account, backup, or storage settings. Contact us if you need help understanding which copies remain.

Privacy questions and requests
Email support@cypio.app with privacy questions or requests concerning personal information. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that correspondence to respond and resolve your request, and retain it as needed for that purpose and applicable legal obligations.
Please avoid sending health records unless they are needed to resolve your request. We cannot remotely access or erase records stored only on your iPhone or in your private iCloud account.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our privacy practices change and revise the date above. For information about the app’s medical limitations, read the Medical Disclaimer.
